Man, it's been a while...

So much has happened since I last posted. Bachelorette Party, Bridal Shower (which were both FABULOUS btw) and I got MARRIED!!

It was... an interesting day. The day started off with people running late. And then more people running late. And even more people running late. Although we were supposed to start at 4:00 I think we started closer to 5. Oopsie! And damn was it windy as HELL. My veil was flying ALL OVER THE PLACE. But it made for a few laughs. All in all it was a good day. My make up was FAB and my husband (weird! husband!) looked handsome. :o) My bridesmaids looked gorgeous. My flowers were beautiful. The place was well decorated. Just great.

I figured I needed to post something to get back in the swing of things. I'll have to catch up more later.

wednesday's accomplishments

Not a damn thing. And it felt good.

Tueday's accomplishments

We didn't accomplish much as we were committed to go to Jason's parents house for his dad's b-day for cake. Which under any other circumstance would have been ok, but with all the projects needing to be completed and the fact that Jason did NOT start dinner, made it really difficult. blugh.

I was surprised to find however that Jason had successfully cut out 5 programs by the time I got home. They're very time consuming as you have to cut out 6 fan blades per program. I had to go back and cut off some of the edges but he made the effort and it's greatly appreciated. (after I went bride-zilla apeshit on him the night before for not helping... tee hee hee) After we got back from his parents house, he made dinner for me and I finished the floral monogram. It looks good! I'll have to take a picture.

WHen I woke up this morning, I saw he had cut out 6 more programs. Yippee! Only a bazillion more to go!

Monday's accomplishments

As soon as I got home we went to Michaels and bought more paper for the programs. Then we bought more flowers for the floral monogram and ribbon for the outside. We also bought toasting flutes! And we mailed off the final payment for the ceremony musician. Yippee!

We finished putting the flowers and now just need to glue the ribbon around the edges and we successfully made 2 programs. It takes waaaaaay too long to cut them out. SAD. Jason said he would cut them out while I was at work today.... ''

I ordered my garters today! I got some Dallas Cowboys ones and I hope Jason will be pleasantly surprised! That's all for now. Almost here! :o)

busy weekend

*yawns*

Seriously, I am exhausted. I feel Like I've been going non stop. However, I did accomplish a lot this weekend!!

Friday: picked up matthias' tuxedo from being altered. Man, he's going to look so good!!
Bought my dress for the bachelorette party.
Mailed off the balance for the flowers.
Purchased our wedding bands.
Went out and celebrated a friends b-day. (ok so this wasn't really productive so to speak but it was nice to just relax and Not think about a THING)

Saturday:
picked up my shoes from being dyed and man they look good!
Picked up my dress from alterations.... I'm not gonna lie, I think I'm gonna look pretty!!!
Helped my sister pick out shoes.
Bought my dress for the bridal shower.
picked out ties for my brothers to wear as ushers.
nought more flowers for the monogram I'm hanging on the front door.

Sunday:
bought eyelets and all the available paper to make programs
bought the styrofoam for the floral monogram
bought 2 bolts of tulle
bought bridal shower accessories and bach party accessories
started the floral monogram but ran out of flowers
wet up a mock display of the candy bar.

did I mention I'm tired??

The excitement grows...

We dropped invitations in the mail Tuesday night and most people got them on thursday. We already got 3 rsvp's in the mail!!!

I realize it's 26 days until we get married. I can't believe it's almost here!

I meant to get more accomplished this weekend, but oh well. We did get my sister's BM dress purchased and it should be shipped this week. I did get their BM jewelry at a very discounted price I might add...

Tonight I will go and look at supplies for the wedding programs and go over the ceremony with Jason. I may also start putting together BM bags and getting a mock set up of the candy bar. So much to do, so much to do!!!

In a little while I am taking Matthias for his 18 month checkup. Seriously?? 18 months?? My baby is getting to be so big. Man, I feel old. HA!

2009 when did you get here??

Seriously it's been such a whirlwind. I feel so behind on so many things. I know it's b/c of the looming wedding in the near future. There's so many things to get done for that. I'm deathly afraid I"m going to forget something. I realize we're now 14 days into the new year. Time flies!

I've been working like crazy on wedding stuff in every spare moment I have. I feel like it's coming so fast and I'm not going to be ready!!I'm just trying not to worry so much about it. Some days I'm just really lazy and I don't do anything even though I should. I should say however, my invitations are beautiful. I love them. I LURVE them. I'm set to mail them out next Tuesday. YAY!

I've been trying to work on small things little by little. I need to take pictures of my accomplishments to actually feel more accomplished.

We did find our wedding bands. I'm so excited! We procrastinated so long on this. Among other things. I hear plans are in the works for a bridal shower and bach party. Can't wait for those either!

Well, i thought I had more to say But I guess I really don't. sad.
